Reexamining Unilateral DNAR in England

The recently filed David Tracey case has apparently prompted many other families across England to share their stories of cases in which a patient was made DNAR without consultation.  [Daily Mail]  There is a widespread push to amend or clarify current rules that require physicians to consult families before entering a DNAR order.  It is unclear whether advocates are seeking just greater transparency or whether they actually want to require consent.
