Bear reported near elementary school in Woodbridge

Parents in Prince William County are being asked to be alert after a mother bear and her cub were seen near Antietam Elementary School in Woodbridge.

The bear and cub were spotted Friday around 8 a.m. Police sent out to the scene could not find the animals, but the sighting prompted a telephone warning to parents. The school is asking that adults walk with their students to and from school each day.
