Joanne Lynn on the Goldilocks Paradigm

At the Brandeis-Princeton conference a few weeks ago, Joanne Lynn colorfully captured something well known to intensivists, palliative care specialists, hospice providers, and others.  Some patients are too well to be in the hospital.  Some are just right for the hospital.  And some are too sick.  She referred to this as the "Goldilocks Paradigm."
